SINGAPORE, December 2023: BOLDR Supply Co. releases a brand new Expedition lineup named the Expedition Enigmath, equipped with a slide rule bezel, which a pre-digital watch feature capable of useful mathematical functions on-the-go. The watch is built with impressive specs for the intrepid adventurer and comes in three colorways and matching canvas straps.
Slide Rule Bezel: Your Traveling Toolbox:
The slide rule was first invented in the 17th century by mathematician William Oughtred, and later adapted to tool watches for 20th century pilots & fieldmen to perform critical calculations on duty. It can compute multiplication, division, rates of speed, distance, ascent / descent, fuel consumption, or convert nautical miles to statute miles with just a few clicks of the bezel.
What’s In The Case
Utilizing the smooth gear & wheel action of Japan-made Miyota 9039, the Enigmath keeps excellent time at 28,800 bph with self-winding & hacking seconds, and a 42-hour power reserve.
The case is 316L stainless steel, suited to extreme environments with excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. Its dual crowns are fastened into a 41mm rounded case that maintains 200m water resistance, measuring 47.5mm lug-to-lug, 12.8mm thick, and 20mm lug width.
Sandblasted & polished to an elegant finish, the watch looks simultaneously buff and studious, topped with an AR-coated chamfered sapphire crystal for extra dial clarity.
