18The famed White Sands National Park is located in the Tularosa Basin, New Mexico, attracting around 600,000 visitors yearly who come to follow its trails and slide down its gypsum sand dunes. These great gypsum sand dunes cover around 275 square miles of the desert area, making it the world’s largest gypsum dunefield. The park is home to thousands of animal species, a large portion of which have developed white / off-white outer coloring to better camouflage themselves in the sands - just like our Expedition I White Sands.

Available stock will be shipped within 48 hours of placing your order from Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm. Orders placed on weekends will be shipped out the following Monday.

En general estoy muy satisfecho con mi Boldr Expedition I White Sands: tiene un movimiento suizo Sellita SW200-1 muy preciso, excelente acero inoxidable arenado, cristal de zafiro curvo en la esfera, cristal de zafiro en el fondo de exposición, tapa y dos coronas a rosca, bisel interno, una correa textil muy cómoda y de buena calidad... y sobre todo una estética que me encanta, con su esfera beige mate muy clarita (casi color blanco roto) y sus grandes números árabes. El único punto negativo es su visibilidad en la oscuridad, bastante mediocre, pero sigue siendo el reloj al que más uso doy, mi preferido. Su precio también es bastante contenido, para sus características

United StatesExpedition 1 White Sands - Should you buy?
I wanted to wear something other than a Hamilton Field Khaki and looked closely at the Expedition 1 White Sands. Very happy I bought this watch. Pros: - Clean dial - Smooth movement - Scratch proof Cons: - Underwhelming lume brightness This is a personal gripe, but I wish Boldr used the same lume pattern on their black dial Expedition 1 for the White Sands as well. It's just more aesthetically pleasing and a step up from just illuminating the entire dial. The White Sands dial is also more of a beige color than pure white. I really like the white dial on my Venture Khaki (see pics) and wish Boldr used it for the White Sands. The White Sands definitely has some heft to it. If your wrist size looks good with watches in the 39-42mm diameter range then the White Sands is the watch for you. You are certainly paying more for the Swiss automatic movement, but it sweeps so clean compared to the movement in my Venture Khaki. Screw down crown feels premium and its fast and easy to adjust date and time. The rotating bezel for your compass is very fluid as well. The stock wrist strap is fine and gets the job done. It needs a little bit of wearing in before feeling comfortable. I would be fine using this strap in austere conditions with confidence and feels comfortable for all-day wear. I still ended up switching to a Zuludiver black rubber strap with orange stitching and I think you will agree it really makes the watch pop with its orange accents. Plus, the contrast of the black strap with the white dial really makes it stand out. Aside from personal gripes on design aesthetics and the underwhelming lume - I very much enjoy my White Sands! If you want an everyday field watch that looks and wears great in a market full of Hamiltons - then buy this watch today! Shipping was an uber fast 3 days.
