20The inspiring story of Chaigo came about by happenstance. While pursuing his dream of being an independent graffiti artist, Malaysian-born Kenji Chai drew inspiration from an unlikely source - the many stray dogs that littered the outskirts of KL city. Growing up in a broken family, Kenji could relate to being estranged, having to fend for himself from a young age. Unlike the strays, however, he had the power to decide from then on to live life on his terms. And thus, Chaigo was born.
The image of the neon blue stray dog with his tongue sticking out represents the spirit of having fun with life and never giving up. Incidentally, Kenji is born in the year of the dog, and Chaigo is a combination of his surname with the Mandarin word for dog, ‘Go’.
Kenji has steadily gained a reputation and amassed a loyal fanbase through his graffiti artwork which has travelled from random Kuala Lumpur city street walls to adorn popular restaurants, buildings, and office spaces. He has also been commissioned to create huge art murals in Jakarta, Kazakhstan, Shanghai, New York, and many other cities around the globe. Over time, Kenji has become the go-to graffiti artist for multiple world-renown brands and creative personalities.
Resonating deeply with Kenji’s story, we were eager to spread his inspiring message through merchandise bearing the Chaigo identity. External wear & tear comprises (but is not limited to) scratches on case, lugs, or crystal, and/or water damage due to negligence. This is a really good case design and with the bracelet properly sized it is a pleasure to wear. Mine keeps good time and practically disappears on the wrist due to the light weight of the titanium and the comfortable taper of the bracelet. The lume is awesome when fully charged, fades quickly, but lingers and is visible in darkness for a fairly long period of time. I wish Kenji's artwork was lumed and was a little more prominent on the dial in daylight, but overall this is a great watch.

The watch is excellent. I love the Ltd ed and all the package content. Runs well. For me with a 7.25" wrist and the diam and the light weight it's totally personal but I would rather something heavier and 40mm. But hat is totally personal opinion.

I love this watch. The lume is really unique and well done, although it doesn't seem to last an extra long time. The titanium case and bracelet makes the watch very lightweight and has a nice subdued gray color. The Chaigo dog design on the watch face is pretty subtle going from visible to invisible depending on angle and light, which is a nice touch. I did experience a couple issues though. The titanium band seems to be machined slightly too large so that the spring bars don't quite line up with the drilled holes in the case making it very hard to switch bands. The clasp also wasn't held tightly to the band so it tended to stick out a little. I contacted customer support about these issues and they promptly sent me a new titanium band, which was very generous.

Très bon rapport qualité prix ce n’est sûrement pas la dernière Boldr que j’achète. Collaboration très intéressante ici avec le street art qui permet une signature visuelle de nuit très belle. Attention simplement à ne pas oublié les taxes à régler au transporteur qui vous contact par sms en France il faudra donc régler 20% du prix pour recevoir la montre mais cela reste in excellent rapport qualité prix même si le mouvement très fiable reste un mouvement auto relativement basique…mais à ce prix c’est top glace saphir inrayable bracelet titane…
